MREI welcomed the New Year with the Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna to pray for peace, prosperity and success of the MREI family
The Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna is an integral part of Manav Rachna’s legacy and tradition. To honour this tradition of seeking the divine blessings, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions began the New Year on an auspicious note with the Purnahuti which was the final culmination of the Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna, being held from December 26, 2015. It was a sight to behold when the entire Manav Rachna fraternity braved the cold of the wintry morning to pray for the peace, prosperity and success of all members of the MREI family. The Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna –organized every year from December 26 to January 1—is an augury of peace and positivity among one and all at MREI. This year too, the Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna infused the same sense of piety. The Yajna began with the Havan by the Management, VCs, Executive Directors, Heads of Institutions, Principals and Directors. The auspicious occasion was the perfect platform for all associates of MREI to foster a sense of oneness as they bonded with one another along with their families over Havan and Bhandara which had been specially organized for everyone present.
As many as 31 members of the Manav Rachna family were awarded in recognition of their 10 years of committed and continuous service. What further enhanced the sense of sublimity were the soul-stirring bhajan renditions by Siddharth Mohan who mesmerized the audience with his mellifluous voice.
Greeting everyone in the New Year, Ms Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions said, “We hope the unity and oneness which is prevalent in the Manav Rachna family will go a long way in actualizing the mission and vision of Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla.” While talking about the significance of ‘havan’, Ms Satya Bhalla explained that such a ceremony “purifies both the soul and environment paving the way for a future that is bound to be fruitful and positive.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Prashant Bhalla said, “The New Year is a time for New Beginnings and new hopes as we resolve to do our best to perpetuate the legacy of our Founder Father Dr O.P. Bhalla. Year 2015 ended on a positive note with MRIU and MRDC receiving NAAC accreditation as ‘A’ Grade institutes. While their recognition has placed these institutions in the premier league among the top rated universities in the country, it has further reaffirmed our belief and commitment towards providing quality education. The coveted achievements will inspire the Faculty and administrative staff to take MREI to even greater heights of academic excellence as they rededicate themselves towards the cause of education and society.” Dr Prashant Bhalla also lauded the collective efforts that went into the making of MREI’s amazing success story and wished everyone health, wealth and happiness in the New Year.
