Manav Rachna signs MOU with TCG Digital Solutions to set-up Training Centre for Cyber Security Education
Manav Rachna is all set to start a Training Centre at Manav Rachna Campus. This follows in the wake of a MOU that Manav Rachna has signed with TCG Digital Solutions wherein TCG Digital Solutions will setup a virtual cyber security platform lab to facilitate certain key courses. The Courses which are of varying duration include Vulnerability Assessor (24 hours), Certified Professional Ethical Hacker (40 hours), Certified Digital Forensics Examiner (40 hours), Certified Wireless Security Engineer (32 hours).
TCG Digital Solutions (formerly SkyTECH Solutions and TCG Software) is the flagship IT Company of The Chatterjee Group. In collaboration with Mile2, TCG presents NSA/CNSS accredited Cyber Security Training Courses.
At Manav Rachna, TCG Digital Solutions will provide an Internet based platform for Cyber Security Capacity Building with its partner Mile2which is known for the robust cyber security certifications for prominent global organizations worldwide.
Present at the MoU signing were Dr N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU; Dr V.K. Mahna, Pro VC, MRU: Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean-Academics, MRIU and Mr. Atul Kalra, Director-MRVPL from Manav Rachna’s side, while Mr. Joydeep Bhattacharya, Chief Operating Office; Mr. Sudipto Jena, Associate Director, and Mr. Shamsher Bahadur, Associate Director, were the key officials from TCG Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Speaking on the signing of the MOU, Dr N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU, said, “We have joined hands with TCG Digital Solutions to introduce for our students cyber security courses with hands-on orientation. This will be an important step in enabling the students of Manav Rachna to be job-ready in the field of cyber security related opportunities which are expected to have a steep increase in demand in the coming years.”
Explaining the significance of the tie-up, Mr. Joydeep Bhattacharya , Chief Operating Office, TCG Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd, said, “The Internet based platform for Cyber Security Capacity Building with our partner Mile2 will fulfil several roles: It will provide study material/ books in print or in digital format as it deems fit at its own cost to students enrolled under the program. A train-the-trainer model (for 3 batches) for imparting the proposed courses will also be implemented. For its part, TCG will appoint / depute the faculty for conducting the training at Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad and for Webinars, at its cost to deliver the program in the college as it deems fit for conducting of the course/curriculum.”
It is noteworthy, that in order to enable students get industry experience, TCG will make best efforts in providing internship to the students who have completed the course and cleared the certification exam at the end of the course.
