Manav Rachna University was declared as Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs, in association with IIT, Delhi, on April 10, 2018. In continuation with this series for Virtual Labs workshops MRU organized 5th workshop on ‘Virtual Labs’ in association with IIT Delhi on January 30, 2020, for faculty members and students from respective disciplines (first year CSE, BSC, ECE) by Virtual Labs team, IIT Delhi.

Virtual Labs mentors for this workshop were Mr. Prateek Sharma, Mr. Tanmay Das, and Mr. Shivam Sunderam. Total of 100 students and 10 faculty members attended the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to introduce practical skills and impart practical knowledge to students through virtual labs.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sangeeta Banga, Dean Academics & Dr. Shruti Vashist Dean Students, MRU. Two esteemed guests Mr. Nadim, from MHRD and Ms. Anusha Gupta from TEQIP III also attended the workshop. The session included a demonstration of measurement based experiments, module-based experiments, and remotely triggered experiments. The students were also explained how to create experiments on their own and upload them to virtual labs. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks from the Dr. Mrinal Pandey, Nodal Coordinator, MRU.
