Workshop on Aircraft Safety, Maintenance, Training and Areas of Current Technologies in Aeronautical Engineering’
Three-day workshop on Aircraft Safety, Maintenance, Training and Areas of Current Technologies in Aeronautical Engineering’
In continuation with the regular events being organized at Faculty of Engineering & Technology, MRIIRS, the Department of Aeronautical Engineering conducted a Three-Day Workshop on ‘Aircraft Safety, Maintenance, Training and Areas of Current Technologies in Aeronautical Engineering’ recently. The resource persons for the workshop included Mr. Arun Chopra, Former Joint Director, General Civil Aviation; Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Former GM-Engg. Training for Maintenance Operations, Kingfisher Airlines and Emirates, Dubai; Mr. TC Sharma, GM Engg. Air India; Mr. Sudhir Jain, Former Head Training, Former Senior AGM, Air India; Dr. N.L. Mangla, Professor, YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad.
Experts from DGCA, Air India, Indian Air Force, and academic institutions were invited to share their vast experience and knowledge during various technical sessions. Each session was followed by interactions with the participants. Students of Aeronautical Engineering from Amity University also participated in the workshop.
The workshop served as a platform for sharing the experience of industry, ongoing research, regulatory environment and areas of current technologies among the participants. All the students were benefitted by the acquaintance with the highly specialized fields of aircraft operations, maintenance, training and flight safety issues.
The workshop was helpful for the students who are seeking career opportunities in the field of aircraft safety, maintenance and other facets of aeronautical engineering. It was equally useful to the students of all engineering branches as well because aircraft as a complete machine is an outcome of interdisciplinary fields of engineering.
