Welcomed Research Scholars of its Fourth Ph.D. Batch

Manav Rachna University (MRU) organized an Orientation Programme to welcome the research scholars of Batch 2018-19. The programme included sessions on key policies followed by certificate distribution.
Dr. Megha Mittal gave an overview of the Ph.D. Programme at MRU followed by the introduction of key persons at MRU, and academic philosophy by Dr. Sangita Banga, Dean Academics, MRU. Dr. D.K. Chadha, Former Chairman, Central Ground Water Board (Guest Speaker for the day) talked about importance of research. Dr. Vikram Sharma, Chief Librarian, Dr. O.P. Bhalla Central Library shared the Role of Shodhganga and importance of plagiarism tools during research. He also conducted a hands-on session on various tools for plagiarism and reference management.
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC-MRU shared the “Mantra” of how scholars can proceed in PhD and complete within the stipulated time.
The programme was also graced by Dr. N. C. Wadhwa, VC, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies; and Dr. M.M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI.
