Our President Dr. Prashant Bhalla said: “Education as a whole has seen a change that was unparalleled, we have seen changes happening which we haven’t seen in decades. The most positive outcome has been that IT became an enabler and all teachers took this pandemic as an opportunity to ensure seamless delivery of academics. In the current situation, all stakeholders are averse to opening schools unless the curve gets completely flattened. Each state today has come up with a different policy on reopening of education institutes. However we would request government bodies and CBSE to work on a unified policy for the purpose”. The panelists also shared examples of how schools in Japan, UAE, Norway and Sweden have been addressing the challenge. They suggested reviewing the course curriculum for online delivery of education as the entire teaching pedagogy is seeing a major change for the next one year from classroom based education to technology based education.
