Manav Rachna University organized a webinar on ‘Quality & Excellence Issues in Higher & Technical Education’ on 31st October 2020. The webinar was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) R. Natarajan. 

Prof. Natrajan was the Vice – President of The Indian National Academy of Engineering during 2002-2006, and the Chairman of the Research Council of the Central Fuel Research Institute, Dhanbad during 1995-2005. He was a Member of the India – China Eminent Persons Group during 2002-2004.  He was, till recently, Chairman of the Board for IT Education Standards of Karnataka, and the Co-Chairman of the Engineering Education Forum of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. 

The entire session was conducted in two parts  – Accreditation, Quality, Rankings, Benchmarking and Roadmap for Excellence in Higher and Technical Education and Learning Objectives and Learning Outcomes. The session ended with the Q/A round. Prof. R. Natarajan enlightened the audience about the historical development of accreditations and the importance of the student satisfaction survey and feedback in the process. It was indeed a highly informative session!!
