International Education Centre had organized a webinar on Communicating and Trusting through COVID -19 and other Mega Crisis. The key speakers of the day were Associate Professor Amisha Mehta, QUT Business School, Australia and the audience comprised of the students and faculties from Faculty of Management Studies students.

The webinar highlighted the meaning of crisis, its different phases, and crisis management. The speaker Dr. Amisha Mehta elaborated on how communication can be used as a tool to create trust during times of crisis.

She also added that using local language and cultural believes can enhance the trust communication skills between the two countries. Regular engagements in scenario planning and decision making is also very important especially decision making under stress

The session was comprehensive, simple and informative and was concluded with Q/A.
