Faridabad, 26/06/2020 : UGC grants 12 B status to Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies in affirmation to its strong focus in Research and Development 

We are extremely elated to announce that the University Grants Commission has accorded 12 B status under the UGC Act, 1956 to Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (deemed-to-be-university) which makes MRIIRS eligible for Central assistance (UGC grant) for furthering the research and development initiatives by students and faculty. 

This shall serve as a huge motivation for students and faculty members who shall be able to pursue major/minor research projects with travel grants, grants for attending seminars/workshops or support for establishing start-ups. PhD students or those pursuing higher studies in research shall be eligible for scholarships and grants.

This Status is also an affirmation of the contribution of Manav Rachna, not just in India but at the global platform through its multifarious innovations for social good. 

The innovation culture that runs deep in the DNA of Manav Rachna stands strengthened with the 12 B status accorded by UGC.
