Department of Computer Science & Technology, Manav Rachna University started its Two-Weeks Department Level Orientation scheduled from 13th – 24th Sep 2021, for B.Tech CSE students. The main aim of this orientation is to equip the freshers with basic technical know-how and give them an opportunity to gel with each other through some fun & team building activities.

The sessions of Day 1 Orientation were based on MS Word, Git Hub & Version (Source) Control Systems and Google Suite. Various features of MS Word were explained during the session which will enable the students to do documentation, make reports for their lab work and projects. A walkthrough on Git Hub was done during the session, students registered themselves on the Github account which shall help them to do their projects in collaboration. They were made aware of the Cloud-based storage solution that allows users to save files online and access the same from anywhere.

The sessions were quite informative for the budding engineers, as they learned about the basic tools that will be quite helpful in their further journey.
