Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre conducted a two-day workshop on ” Data Analytics using R Programming” recently. The workshop was attended by 65 students from FCA-MRIIRS, MRU, YMCA and FET-MRIIRS. The workshop equipped the participants with the skills of handling big data using R programming, such as working on 10,000+ excel files using R script.

Programming exercises were performed in order to enhance the programming skills of the students. R programming is one of the most widely used languages for performing data analytics and is used in organizations like Facebook, Google, Microsoft and other organizations of repute. Students were motivated by this workshop and the skills they have acquired during this workshop will surely help them to take on the emerging field of data analytics.
