TREASURE HUNT : 15th Oct 2015
Manav Rachna Adventure Squad under the Department of Students Welfare, MRIU organized an exciting event on 15th October, 2015 in the light of increasing friendly interaction between students from different faculties from Manav Rachna Family.
The event was based on physical activity, logical thinking and searching clues all over the Manav Rachna Campus. Firstly, all teams were given a list of items to fetch. At the next level teams competed in fun games. Then, the next level had the teams competed in relay tasks to get to the final level through the clues given to them.
40 teams comprising of 5 members each competed for the Final treasure leading to a whooping participation of 200 students. To ensure positive interaction and promote team work and wider participation, it was made compulsory for each team to have at least 2 members out of the 5 from different faculties.The competition saw much cheer and brought out the competitive spirit in students. The final 5 competing teams first played a round of Tug-of –War and out of them, the last two standing teams then finally were on a hunt for the key to the precious Treasure, a cash reward of Rs. 7000/-.
The winners: Tarun Verma (2nd year Civil, FET), Amrit Pal Singh (2nd year Civil, FET), Deepanshu Kamboj (2nd year Mechanical, MRU), Sachin Dahiya (2nd year Civil, FET) and Sumit Chaudhary (2nd year Civil, FET) took home the ultimate treasure along with the Certificates of Achievement.
All other teams, who put their whole hearted efforts in the game, received Certificates of Appreciation.
