The Art and Science of Legislative Drafting
The Centre for Legislative Studies and Research (CLSR) at Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University hosted its inaugural event, a webinar on the theme “The Art and Science of Legislative Drafting” on 10 October 2020.
Dr G Narayana Raju Secretary, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice was the Chief Guest and delivered the Keynote Address. The other speakers at this webinar were Guest of Honour Satya Prakash Legal Editor, The Tribune. PK Malhotra Former Union Law Secretary and Executive Chairperson of CLSR delivered the opening remarks. This online discussion was moderated by Ajay Thomas Director, Faculty of Law and Dr Versha Vahini Head of Department, Faculty of Law moderated the session, and Dr SK Bose Faculty-in-charge of CLSR delivered the closing remarks.
This webinar saw 164 attendees, who came from all over India and also from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Albania, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Myanmar, South Africa and Italy.
