The final match of the much-awaited 13th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge was held today at the Manav Rachna campus considering the various precautionary protocols amidst COVID-19.

The match was held after the complete sanitization and adhering to all the SOPs mandated by the Government of India, with strict safety protocols.

Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions; Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI graced the occasion with their presence to boost the team morale and continue the legacy of the Manav Rachna family.

The final match of the tournament was played between Asian Hospital and Maruti Suzuki. Team Maruti Suzuki won the toss and elected to field first. Mr. Arjun from the Asian Hospital who played a key role in the victory of his team was declared the ‘Man of the Match’ for scoring 48 runs of 27 balls. The team of Asian Hospital scored 182 runs in 20 overs.

The Cup, instituted in the memory of Founder Visionary Dr. O P Bhalla follows the belief that sports inculcate life-long skills, camaraderie, and bonding among players.
