TELLY – GENIC QUIZ COMPETITION, an event based on questions related to daily soaps, movies, advertisements and cartoons was organized by  Manav Rachna Literary Forum under the Department of Student Welfare, Manav Rachna International University on 24th July 2015 in  B Block Seminar hall.

60 teams(120 participants)  from various faculties / institution  participated in this event. The event was judged by Ms. Ayushi Singh Chaudhary (Coordinator-Students Welfare)
The event commenced at 11 o’clock. There were 4 Rounds and the first round consisted of MCQs which were to be answered within a specified period of time. After the first Round 30 teams were shortlisted on the basis of the number of correct questions answered. Then began Round 2 which consisted of verbal questions to be answered within 60 seconds,  out of these 10 teams qualified for Round 3 which was an audio visual round in which many audio and visual files were played and the participants had to guess which movie, advertisement or cartoon series it was. This Round tested the grasping and promptness of the participants which ended with  3 teams qualifying for final round.

Final round was a buzzer Round in which the participants were tested with some verbal questions which were to be answered as soon as possible and  quicker than the other participants. The event concluded at 1pm.
The winners of this event were Sahil Kumar (1^st Sem B.tech CSE, FET) and Nikhil ((1^st Sem B.tech CSE, FET) and were awarded with 16 GB pendrive each. The first runner ups of this event were Avni(1^st Sem B.tech CSE, FET) and Noori Singh (1^st Sem B.tech CSE, FET) and were awarded with 8 GB pendrive each.
