Students Participated In Financial Education Program
MBA students of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) participated in ‘Financial Education Program’ organized by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Northern Regional Office, New Delhi.
The session was organized to make the students learn from the policy makers and to make them understand the spirit of the business education, management and decision-making. This initiative was conceptualized by Dr. Suresh Bedi, Dean, FMS, MRIIRS during his discussion with our academic partner Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The key points that were emphasized by the Area Expert from SEBI included Contemporary and Regulatory issues for SEBI; Changing regulatory role in the era of technology and rising international financing; SEBI and its liaison with different stakeholders and the regulatory bodies; and role of technology and regulation in the next decade with artificial intelligence.
