Manav Rachna University students attended the B K Birla Global Innovation Challenge (BGIC 2020) recently at BIMTECH, Noida. Three students from BBA program, Rahul Goyal (Sem II), Smiti Verma (Sem-II), Simran Mehta (Sem VI) and Naman Gupta form CSE (Sem VI) along with Dr Pragati Chauhan, Faculty –Department of Management & Commerce, MRU attended the event.

The event began with a panel discussion with experts consisting of Business Leaders, CEOs/Founders of VCs and renowned Innovators and Entrepreneurs. Our student got an opportunity to visit Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) and understand the various support services being extended to the incubates. They also witnessed prospective startups pitching for incubation and funding at Atal Incubation Centre- BIMTECH.

The event ended with final pitching by the finalists of the event to a panel of Venture Capitalists (VCs) who were funded with cash prizes and various other support services. The team also interacted with Dr Abha Rishi- CEO, Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) and also the Chairperson- Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) at BIMTECH. It was a rich and insightful experience for the students.
