Department of Commerce, FCBS, organized a Student Enrichment Lecture on 15th October 2019 for B.Com (Hons) V Semester Students. 50 students attended the lecture and were enlightened on “Insights and Career Opportunities in Finance”. 

Mr. Sachin Aggrawal, a practicing Chartered Accountant and Founder of Sachin B M Aggarwal & Co. was invited as an Industry Expert. 

The session was started with the introduction of the Indian financial sector and current job opportunities available in the market. The speaker focused that it is the right time to enter into the field and start thinking about the various available areas of finance. He broke the traditional thinking regarding financial jobs and imparted the new upcoming trends. He also talked about highly demanded sectors of finance such as Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Mutual Funds, and Financial Intermediaries. As per the facts, investments are the only solution for breaking the chain of inflation. In this regard, he talked about the changing pattern of investments in areas such as fixed deposit, real estate, commodities, and financial markets and the right time of investment is a must. Finance is the fast-growing sector and requires skilled manpower to provide financial solutions to government, corporate bodies, private big and small firms and individuals.
