Manav Rachna is proud to host the Bhutanese students and delegates who are at Manav Rachna as part of their training on Health and Fitness. In what was an ideal and rare opportunity to soak in the culture and religion of their country, the Bhutanese students and delegates felt closer to home when they were invited to attend the Tathagat Buddha Chivar Daan Puja ceremony and Third Tathagat Buddha Darshan Yatra Bodhgaya held at Manav Rachna International University. They could easily identify with the Buddhist chants, the Ahimsa pledge and teachings and sayings of Gautam Buddha. It also gave them glimpses of Buddhism’s original roots and of India being the cradle of their faith and beliefs.
