Stride towards excellence: Departmental research published in Q1 ranked journal
Dr. Kiran Banga, 3rd year post graduate student, under the guidance of Prof. Sridhar Kannan, Prof. Nitin Arora, Dr. Ashish Kumar Singh and Dr. Abhita Malhotra from the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Faculty of Dental Sciences, MRDC, MRIIRS published a path breaking study titled ‘Evaluation of Temperature Rise in The Pulp During Various IPR Techniques – An in vivo study’ on November 2, 2020 in Progress in Orthodontics, one of the most prestigious and illustrious Q1 international Orthodontic journals, indexed with many reputed online databases such as PubMed Central, Scopus, EMBASE, EBSCO Discovery Service, Google Scholar, Medline; UGC – Care List etc.
This is the first ever in vivo study conducted worldwide, measuring the pulp temperature inside live teeth during Inter Proximal Enamel reduction.
The research being one of a kind, is also being shared on various social media platforms by many renowned Orthodontists all over the world including Dr. Ravindra Nanda (BDS, MDS, PhD), one of the most eminent and respected Orthodontist in the world, who is also on the editorial board of various esteemed international Orthodontic journals.
