Manav Rachna NSS Team with the support of Team Umang organized Smart City Clothes Donation Drive in and outside Manav Rachna Campus. We received a huge response from Students, Faculty members and their neighbors and relatives from Delhi NCR and were able to collect a good number of clothes for donation. On 26^thOct 2015 three of our student representative from NSS team namely Nishkarsh Vashistha (5^th Sem-Mech,Fet),Lokesh Goswami (3^rd Sem- Mech,FET) and Vikash Gupta (3^rd Sem-Mech,FET) gathered all the donations which were made till 25^th Oct 2015 and visited the Slum area under Badkal Flyover at 1 pm along with RJ Swati from Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 FM to record those moments.

Members of the NSS team distributed clothes to Men, Women, Children and elderly for about 45 minutes and were overwhelmed with the love which was given by the people in return.

This visit encouraged the students to conduct Smart City Collection drive which will include everything from clothes to gadgets and spectacles to make Faridabad a better city, a Smart City.
