Department of English, Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities organized a Slogan Writing Competition on the theme Say No to Plastic recently. The competition was conducted under the aegis of Swacchata Pakhwada and aimed at creating awareness among students regarding environment conservation.

Students from various semesters participated enthusiastically in the competition unleashing their creative minds for the awareness activity.The judges for the competition were Dr. Jyoti Sharma and Dr. Sujata from the Department of English.

The winners of the event were Ms. Shivani from M.A (English) Semester I securing first position, the second position was shared by Ms. Manisha from B.A (H) English Semester III and Taiba from B.A (H) English Semester I.

The event ended with the encouraging words of the judges and on a note that the participants and organizers will abstain themselves from the mindless usage of plastic and contribute towards environment conservation.
