Shri Ratan Lal Lahoti Memorial Law Library Inaugurated at MRU by Hon’ble Justice R.C. Lahoti
Manav Rachna University proudly hosted the Inauguration Ceremony of Shri Ratan Lal Lahoti Memorial Law Library and the First Meeting of Advisory Board, Faculty of Law in the campus here today. Former Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Justice R.C Lahoti, Chairman of the Advisory Board has adopted this Law
Library in the name of his Father. Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI; Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President,
MREI; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI and VC, MRU; Esteemed Members of the Advisory Board and
senior dignitaries from the Manav Rachna fraternity graced the august occasion.
Expressing utmost delight on the inauguration ceremony, Hon’ble Justice R.C. Lahoti, said, “I am indeed very happy to be in the campus for reasons more than one. The name of the University itself and the deep meaning behind it says it all. I salute the Founder who has founded an Institution which not only serves quality education but also works on creating better human beings.”
He enlightened the Students about 3 types of Books wherein he mentioned that there are books that can be tested, books that can be swallowed and books that can be chewed and digested, further stating that Library is the only place where you get all such books. He encouraged the law students by reiterating the fact that doctors and lawyers are the only professionals who are gifted with an opportunity to serve
Society.
The Students were elated and overwhelmed with excitement upon hearing from Justice Lahoti that a Gold Medal would be given to a Student of the Year who would be judged on parameters such as Marks,
Behaviour, Participation in Extra-Curricular activities to name a few.
