Computer Science & Technology Department, Manav Rachna University, organized a session on  “IoT Development and Cloud Integration” for B.Tech. CSE students.  A team of three tech enthusiasts, Ashish Kumar, Rohit Joseph & Manan Sakhuja, BITS alumni, were the resource persons.

The session started with the fundamentals of Open Source Software and Open Source Hardware, and continued with discussion on real life examples of IoT, role of micro controllers and sensors in IoT and network interfaces. The session further progressed with basics of computer network communication, role of IP addresses, followed by basics of cloud computing, cloud infrastructure and details of the services offered by the cloud. An example of availing cloud services through a customized built cloud was demonstrated to students for their understanding and confidence in building their own cloud with similar services.
