In the series of Collaborative Learning Forum, Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA), MRIIRS conducted a session on “Detecting Human Emotions-Blue Eyes Technology” by Dr. Anupriya Jain, Associate Professor, FCA and “Emotional Intelligence” by Ms. Vishawjyoti, Assistant Professor, FCA on 31st March, 2018.

The session started with a presentation by Dr. Anupriya Jain who explained how blue eye technology creates computational machine. Having perceptual and sensory ability like those of human beings, it gathers information from the users and starts interacting with them according to their mood variations.

In continuation to this, Ms. Vishawjyoti gave the presentation and explained about Emotional Competence framework with different components like self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills.

Both the presentations were highly interactive and gave useful knowledge as a takeaway to the participants.
