Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) recognized 385 high performers under the second edition of ‘Manav Rachna Scholars’ Program 2019 at the campus today. These scholars are the students of 2019 Batch studying at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS), and Manav Rachna University (MRU). The performers are pursuing various programs at Manav Rachna under scholarship (25%, 50%, and 100%).

The scholars were acknowledged with a Certificate in the august presence of Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr. M.M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI and VC-MRIIIRS; Dr. NC Wadhwa, DG-MREI; Dr. I.K. Bhat, VC-MRU; Registrar of both universities, Deans and HoDs of all departments.

Out of 385 scholars, 77 high performers who have been studying at 100% Scholarship at Manav Rachna were instituted with the privileged ‘scholar badges’ and certificates. This was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony by the students to administer their responsibilities with honesty and unity.

Applauding the academic achievers and congratulating them for the recognition, Smt. Satya Bhalla said, “We have been awarding scholarships since the last 18 years and from 2018, we are organizing Manav Rachna Scholars’ Program every year on October 3.” She also motivated the students to work hard and stay consistent in their efforts to be the Manav Rachna Scholar during their graduation years as well. She asked them to use their precious years at Manav Rachna to make themselves ready for the challenges of life.

During the programme, Girls Table Tennis Team of Manav Rachna was also felicitated for their win of Gold Medal at All India Technical Sports Championship which was held at IIT, Kanpur recently.
