Paigam- the Dramatic and Film(s) Society of MRIIRS performed Nukkad Natak at 4th International Conference on Sustainability Education

Keeping the name of Manav Rachna high in cultural activities, Paigam- the Dramatic and Film(s) Society of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies was invited to perform Nukkad Natak at the 4th International Conference on Sustainability Education on the 9th September 2022. The two days conference was held in SCOPE Complex, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Marg, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi, and featured several keynote addresses in 3 plenaries, 17 thematic sessions, exhibition, oral and poster presentations besides inaugural and concluding plenaries. The conference offered a host of notable highlights with vital environmental organizations such as UNESCO, UNEP, Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE, Copenhagen), The Climate Reality Project India, The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI), WWF India, amongst many others as partners.
On this occasion, Paigam members performed a Nukad Natak “DASTAN-E-HIND,” demonstrating the importance of the environment in today’s world and how we can become pollution-free. The students were accompanied by Mr. Ajoy Banerjee, Assistant Professor FMS- UG, and Ms. Yashika Hasija, Manager of Students Welfare. The participants received a standing ovation and were praised for their sheer hard work and performance.
The audience applauded the performance, and the team received certificates of appreciation.
