Outbound Experiential Training to Kasol for MBA final year students
Faculty of Management Studies, MRIIRS organized an Outbound Experiential Training to Kasol for MBA final year students with the objective of enhancing their management and leadership skills. Dr. Anindita Chatterjee Rao, Dr. Meghna Chhabra, and Mr. Manoj Jha were among the faculty members who accompanied the students. The outbound training was jam-packed with enjoyable learning opportunities, and the students’ excitement added to the entire package. The students participated in a variety of physical activities such as rappelling, camping, trekking, basketball, archery, and bonfires, among others, in which they had to demonstrate their individual talents as well as teamwork skills. The voyage began on a lengthy course, and it was an extraordinary experience to go through other states, enjoy different cuisines, and take in the scenery of kasol
The camp scenery was spectacular, and the sound of the flowing Parvati river was enough to relax mind and body, so arriving at Kasol was like a breath of fresh air. One of the most memorable experiences was the trip to Grahan Village along the Parvati River the next day, when students learnt how to survive with limited resources and in difficult circumstances.
The experience was enriching, infused with comprehensive learning (crisis management, team players, optimizing circumstances, conflict management, and so on), as well as fun and the zeal of students and professors.
