Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), MRIIRS commenced its orientation program for 12^th batch on July 15, 2019.

Following the Manav Rachna’s tradition, a hawan ceremony for pious beginning was performed in the presence of Dr. M.M. Kathuria, Trustee MREI; Padma Shri, Dr. Pritam Singh, Honorary DG, MREI; Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, DG, MREI; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean-Academics, MRIIRS, and Mr. R.K. Arora, Registrar MRIIRS. All students, faculties, and staff of FMS participated.

Post hawan, the students went to ‘Prerna Sthal’ to pay tribute to the Visionary Founder, Dr. O.P. Bhalla.

Another session began with the introduction of all the senior functionaries of MRIIRS by Prof. Amit Seth. Then, Dr. Nand Dhamija, Dean, FMS, delivered the welcome address, giving the glimpses of the management world to students with real life examples of some of the great corporate leaders. The session culminated with the address of Padma Shri Dr. Pritam Singh. Also known as the pioneer of management education, renaissance leader and management guru, he apprised the young audience about the requirements of Management Studies and advised them to work in a team if they aspire to become a great leader.
