Online one week short term training programme on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MRIIRS, is organizing AICTE approved Online one week Short Term Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, sponsored by AICTE, from August 24-29 2020, in the online mode.
The second day of the training programme commenced in the presence of Dr. Suresh Kumar, Professor CSE, FET, MRIIRS (Chair of Event), Dr. Poonam Tanwar, Associate Professor CSE,FET(Event Coordinator), Dr. Shelja Sharma, Assistant Professor(Event Co-ordinator), Ms. Shweta Sharma, Assistant Professor, CSE,FET,MRIIRS(Event Co-ordinator).
The second day of the training programme consisted of three sessions. In the first session on “Machine learning and Metrics for Data Analytics” was delivered by Prof. C.P Gupta, MNIT Jaipur. He introduced the participants to the concepts and principles of machine learning. He also explained different performance metrics for different machine learning algorithms. The session was very informative.
The second session on “Data Handling and Data Visualization using Python” was conducted by Dr. V. Ajanta Devi, Research Head, AP3 Solutions. She introduced the audience with different concepts of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and Deep Learning techniques. She explained supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. She also provided insights into practical implementation using different datasets. Also data visualization using different libraries such as seaborn, pandas, matplotlib, numpy, sklearn etc. was done. The audience gained a lot in different aspects in machine learning.
The third session was hands-on “Supervised Learning” by Mr Nitish, ICT Academy explained different concepts on datasets, supervised, unsupervised learning. He explained supervised learning techniques using K-Nearest Neighbors using real-time examples. He also discussed different performance metrics such as confusion matrix, recall, precision, F1-score etc. The optimizations of different models were also discussed. The session was highly informative.
