One week Java + Android workshop in association with Brain O vision
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FET MRIIRS organized a week-long online workshop focusing on Java and Android in association with M/s Brain O vision. The sessions on the first three days were based on Java and the last three days on Android. Mr. Ganesh Nag Doddi, CEO of Brain O Vision, Ms. Tejasvani Shrigiri from Brainovision welcomed the participants and faculty coordinators. Chief guest Dr. Vishwanath Kokonda, Ph.D., Digipreneur, Author and Coach addressed the audience about the benefits of Java and Android, and advised the participants to take the full benefit of the workshop. More than 50 students and faculty members from CSE attended the workshop. Resource person, Mr. Madhu Vandavali with experience of over 8 years started the first day with a technical session and covered the fundamentals of Java.
The second day saw the Java workshop with the main highlight on Principles of OOPS. Day 3 witnessed the training on varied aspects like control statement, conditional statement, constructors, rules to define constructors, abstract classes and interfaces, methods used to perform functionality, rules to define abstract classes and interfaces, etc. The fourth day had an interesting session on android lead by Mr. Prashant Katta Kumar from Brainovision. Day 5th and Day 6th were dedicated to the android workshop.
In the valedictory session, Mr. Prashant Katta and Mr. Madhu Vandavali requested the participants to indulge in multiple such hands-on-trainings. After that chief guest of the valedictory session, Mr. Ramesh Kairankonda addressed the participants and discussed the advantages and applications that can be developed using Java. Dr. Poonam Tanwar, the event coordinator, thanked Mr. Ganesh for organizing such a great event. Both the resource persons Mr. Madhu Vandavali & Mr. Prashant were powerhouses of knowledge and the way they delivered the sessions was amazing. They cleared the doubts using practical aspects and answered every query posed before them.
