Nutrition and Natural Health Sciences Association organized a conference on public health and nutrition-related aspects. The eminent speakers included University professors, pediatricians, researchers and social activists. Discussions were held on the availability of food and its utilization across various groups of population; food contamination and hygiene factors; among others. Many issues in the health, medical, and biological sciences were addressed through relevant data.

Ms Varsha Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAS) discussed about the relationship between childhood malnutrition and sustainable development at this conference. Ms Yukti Bhatia and Ms Vaishali also participated in the conference and presented their views in the form of e-poster and a video titled ‘Nutrition Intervention Programme for gym-goers’.

The conference was very informative and the work submitted by our faculty members and students was well appreciated.
