MRU welcomed Freshers with a Three-week Orientation Program
Manav Rachna University (MRU) welcomed its new members of Applied Sciences, Education, Management and Humanities, and Law with great gusto. The campus reverberated with the charm and energy of the students. The day commenced with the auspicious Hawan ceremony in the presence of Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI); Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI; Dr. Meenakshi Khurana, Pro-VC, MRU and deans and directors of different faculties.
Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI gave her blessings to the students and said, “You are here to start your new journey with all the new hopes and goals. At this turning point, you will find all of us at Manav Rachna standing by your side in your highs and lows.”
Students were introduced to the faculty members who will be their guiding forces in their journey. Dr. D.K. Sharma, Proctor, MRU apprised the students with the anti-ragging policy of the university. Dr. Meenakshi Khurana took the students through the academic policies.
Simultaneously, it was the third-day of the Orientation Program of Engineering Students wherein an English Proficiency Test of the students was conducted by Corporate Relations and Career Management Centre (CRCMC). Mr. Dhruv Jose, Advocate, Supreme Court of India conducted a session on Cyber Laws to apprise the students with the laws related to cyber crimes like cyber bullying, cyber stalking, etc. Students were also introduced to the library resources available to streamline their journey at Manav Rachna. As the day came to an end, students visited Su-Kam and Daikin Lab where they interacted with the faculty to know about the various activities of center and how they can leverage the resources available to them.
Different activities during the day charged the students and they were excited to take part in the activities to be held on the next day.
