MRU Orientation Programme: Second day of Third-week
The third-week of Orientation programme was highly interactive and informative. The second day of the week was replete with Industrial Talks, sessions on computer skills and various modules of English Language, Maths Session, and Electronics Workshop, Mechanical Workshop. To bridge the gap between industry and academia, a talk was conducted by Mr. Nagesh Marwa, Group Chief Happiness Officer, Executive Director- HR Krishna Maruti Group, Gurgaon. Mr. Nagesh Marwa conducted a session on “Life after Schools” with nuances on changes in life after schools, the focus areas, the industry requirements and expectations, and the do’s and don’ts as parameters of achieving success in life.
Non-engineering students of MRU underwent sessions by industry experts. A session was held with Dr. Monika Deep Vat who interacted with the students regarding job opportunities in the field of healthcare. Another session on ‘A Special Teacher: a session on inclusive classroom’ was conducted by Ms Reshma Bhowan, Special Educator with Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. Students also visited Technoplanet lab to introduce students to STEAM based education.
The session was highly informative and pragmatic for the students with enriching experience on an ideal code of conduct to be practiced to come off with flying colors in all aspects of life.
