Department of Education, Manav Rachna University (MRU), with the commendable initiative of the members of the clan Air Falcon, celebrated the festival of “Lohri’, the harvest Festival of Punjab in its true spirit. Be it anchors speaking Punjabi Language, depiction of Punjabi folklores through songs, beats of Punjabi-Bhangra’ and ‘Gidda’, the whole program transferred the audience to ‘The Bread Basket’ state of India —Punjab.

This cultural program was followed by the auspicious ‘Bon Fire’, where honorable VC, MRU, Directors, heads of other departments and other staff members too joined in amidst the joyful chorus singing of ‘Sunder, munderiye, tera kaun bechara’ With the sharing of special packets of typical eats for Lohri, the celebrations were enjoyed by one and all.
