Manav Rachna International University has been bestowed with the MeltingPot2020 ‘Innovation Award for Exemplary Student Driven Innovation Ecosystem’ at the MeltingPot2020 Innovation Summit held in Hyderabad. MeltingPot2020 Innovation Summit is the only platform in the region enabling collaboration, networking and knowledge share between the various stakeholders in the innovation eco-system to catalyze the transformation of the region into a global innovation hub. The summit is mentored by Dr. R.A Mashelkar, Former Director General, & Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR); Deans and Directors from all the IITs; and corporate honchos.

This award acknowledges the contribution of Manav Rachna International University towards inculcating collaboration, data collection, knowledge of research, importance of sustainability, and improving learning methods, while motivating students to think out of the box. The award was presented by Prof Sadagopan, Director, IIIT Bangalore & Chairperson for MeltingPot2020 Innovation Summit 2017 and was received by Dr. N C Wadhwa, VC, MRIU and Dr. Pradeep Varshney, Director, Manav Rachna Research Innovation & Incubation Centre. Also present on the occasion were Sh. Manish Sisodia, Dy CM of Delhi and Sh. Satyendra Jain, Health Minister of Delhi.
