Dr Sukrit Silas, an internationally acclaimed scientist and scholar, also the Director of SeqIndiaLabs Pvt. Ltd., is now collaborating with MRIIRS for developing and commercializing their novel non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) for Down’s syndrome. Dr Silas is the Co-founder & Chief Scientific Officer of BillionToOne Inc. He has attained his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in Molecular Biology with a certificate in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Princeton University, Princeton NJ and went further to do Master of Philosophy by Research in Biological Sciences (Pathology) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, Cambridge UK. Dr. Silas then attained his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical & Systems Biology from Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford CA. He has been granted by “Gates-Cambridge Scholarship”, “Stanford Graduate Fellowhip”, “HHMI International Student Research Fellowship, “Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award” and many more such accolades both on national level and international level.
