MoU with President University, Indonesia, perpetuating its deep rooted research-driven focus!
Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI), as part of its motto of imparting international best practices in education to students, signed a MoU with President University, Indonesia, here today. Both Institutions would be focusing on Research as part of the mutual exchange. That apart, Management, Environmental Engineering, Global Warming, Developmental Economics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Tourism and Mass Communication are the other focus areas in the academic agreement between the two institutions. They have also mutually agreed on Student Exchange, Faculty and Teachers Exchange programmes for which joint conferences and training programs would be conducted.
The MoU was signed with a view to establishing cooperative relations between the two institutions, especially to develop academic and cultural exchange through mutual assistance in the areas of education and research. Also on the anvil are special short term academic programs and projects; cooperation in curriculum development, cooperation in quality assurance subject to the fulfillment certain criteria between the two institutions. Dr Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI, signed the MoU on behalf of MREI while Rector Jony Haryanto, President University, Indonesia signed the MoU on behalf of President University.
Expressing great satisfaction over the MoU, Dr Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI, said, “The academic collaboration of MREI with President University would enable our Faculty and students gain an added edge as it is another step towards providing them with international exposure and practical experience. Our connect with President University, an international University of repute, would contribute towards making our students well rounded personalities and help in their emergence as globally competent professionals ready to take on life’s challenges.”
