The Moot Court Society at the Faculty of Law, Manav Rachna University organized a moot court training workshop by Mr. Tariq Khan, Principal Associate, Advani & Co.

A graduate from Jamia Milia Islamia, Advocate Khan was adjudged as one of the Best Speakers in the South Asia Rounds of the Oxford Price Media Law Moot Court Competition in 2013-2014. He has authored the best-selling book “On the Rise” which is a short introduction to many of the challenges that lawyers face in the legal profession.

Through his workshop, Mr. Khan made the students understand the importance of mooting in law school. He taught the students the art of memorial making and shared a copy of his own written submissions as a guiding format. Further, he addressed the audience about the oratory skills that a mooter must possess, and guided them on how to tackle questions posed by judges during the rounds.

The students of all three batches are participating in the Intra Moot Court rounds. The interactive workshop by Mr. Khan proved to be an enriching and insightful experience into the world of mooting.
