- The CD ‘songs of water’ was also released on the occasion
The Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna is an integral part of Manav Rachna’s legacy and tradition. Organized every year from December 26 to January 1—this is a beautiful thought of our Founder Visionary Dr. O.P Bhalla to spread global peace and prosperity among one and all.
To honour this tradition of seeking divine blessings, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) began the New Year on an auspicious note with the Purnahuti which was the final culmination of the Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna. It was a sight to behold when the entire Manav Rachna fraternity braved the cold of the wintry morning to pray for the peace, prosperity and success of all members of the MREI family.
The Yajna began with the Havan by the Management, VCs, Executive Directors, Heads of Institutions, Principals and Directors. Sh. Deepak Gupta, District & Sessions Judge, Faridabad graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Smt Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President-MREI; Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI; Mr. H K Batra; Mr. Navdeep Chawla; Mr. Ravi Vasudeva among other dignitaries from Faridabad were also present on the occasion.
The auspicious occasion was the perfect platform for all associates to foster a sense of oneness as they bonded with one another along with their families over Havan and Bhandara.
92 members of the Manav Rachna family were awarded in recognition of their 10 years of committed and continuous service. What further enhanced the sense of sublimity were the soul-stirring bhajan renditions by Siddharth Mohan who mesmerized the audience with his mellifluous voice. A CD titled ‘songs of water’ was released with the support of the Central Ground Water Board to create awareness on water conservation. Ms. Chandana Kapoor, music teacher at MRIS Charmwood has lent her voice to the CD.
Thanking all the members of Manav Rachna for their commitment and support, Smt. Satya Bhalla said, “We hope the unity and oneness which is prevalent in the Manav Rachna family will go a long way in actualizing the mission and vision of Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla.” While talking about the significance of ‘havan’, Ms Satya Bhalla explained that such a ceremony “purifies both the soul and environment paving the way for a future that is bound to be fruitful and positive.”
