Manav Rachna welcomed its Non Engineering Freshers to an Orientation Programme
Manav Rachna Educational Institutions organized an orientation programme for its non engineering students. Manav Rachna International University, MRIU welcomed its Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities, Faculty of Planning & Architecture, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Business Studies & Commerce, Faculty of Computer Applications and Faculty of Applied Sciences freshers to an Orientation programme. Manav Rachna University also welcomed 1st Year BBA, BSc., Integrated Law & Education Students.
As per the tradition, the programme began with an auspicious Havan in which Faculty and Students joined in the prayers and invocation followed by plantation as per UGC campaign ‘One student One Tree’ by students alongwith their class mentors.
Senior dignitaries such as Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRU, and MD, MREI; Dr N. C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU; Dr. M.M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics, MRIU addressed students emphasizing the need for hands on experience apart from domain knowledge. They congratulated students on their new beginning and motivated them to give their 100% for a bright future and successful career. Dean, Directors and HODs of the respective departments were also present on the occasion along with the students and parents.
All the students participated and enjoyed in various team building activities like Ice Breaking session along with exposure to the various academic, co curricular, extra curricula and administrative processes through indoor and outdoor interactions aimed at developing leadership and managerial capacities. The new comers also underwent a Proficiency Test on the first day in which they attempted to answer MCQ to evaluate their aptitude and verbal ability.
The MBA students also got a chance to get to hear Padama Shri Dr. Pritam Singh, who is also known as Management Guru. He addressed the future entrepreneurs and apprised them about the requirements of Management Studies. He said, “To become a great leader they must first become a good human being.”
