Manav Rachna students add colour to the already vibrant Surajkund Crafts Mela 2018
The Government of Haryana is organizing the 32nd International Surajkund Crafts Mela from 2nd –18th February 2018. In this beautiful gathering of different countries and states, MRIDAKSH – Dance Society of Manav Rachna performed at stall no. 825 (Choti Chaupaal) representing different dance forms of India. A group of 8 girls from different faculties showcased a beautiful medley of dance forms comprising Kathak, Bhartnatyam, Haryanavi, etc.
The main theme for dance was in line with this year’s theme state Uttar Pradesh – “Har Ghar Radha Krishna”. Mr. Ravneet Singh, Coordinator Alumni Relations, MREI and Ms. Himani Saraswat, Coordinator Students Welfare escorted the team of students and boosted up the morale of the dance performers by cheering and enjoying their performances.
MRIDAKSH will also be performing a Flash Mob on Acid Attack on February 11. PAIGAM – Manav Rachna Dramatics Society will showcase Nukkad Natak – Nadaan Parindey based on Child Trafficking in India on February 12.
