Manav Rachna lifts the Champions’ Trophy of the 14th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge Cup
Manav Rachna lifted the Champions’ Trophy of the 14th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge Cup 2021 with a score of 241 beating Asian Hospital by 3 runs in a nail-biting last over. Asian Hospital bagged the Runners-up trophy of the tournament.
Manav Rachna won the toss of the final match and elected to bat first. Team scored 241 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 8 wickets. Mr. Nikhil Diwakar, Team Manav Rachna was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for scoring 96 runs in 36 balls and hitting 13 sixes. Team of Asian Hospital scored 238 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Mr. Sachin from Manav Rachna bagged the title of the ‘Best Batsman of the Tournament’; Neeraj from Asian Hospital was declared ‘Best Bowler for the Tournament’; Rajesh from Asian Hospital- ‘Best Fielder of the Tournament’; and Nikhil Diwakar from Manav Rachna owned the title of the ‘Player of the Tournament’.
Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation awarded the Manav Rachna team (winner) the prize of Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 21,000 prize to Mr. Nikhil Diwakar, ‘Player of the Tournament’.
The Cup was instituted in the memory of Founder Visionary Dr. O P Bhalla with the belief that sports inculcate life-long skills, camaraderie and bonding among players.
