Manav Rachna Dental College ,FDS , MRIIRS bags 2 ICMR Research proposals this year !!!
The ICMR initiated the Short Term Studentship Program in order to promote interest and aptitude for research among medical/dental undergraduates. The main objective of this program is to provide an opportunity to undergraduate medical students to familiarize themselves with research methodology and techniques. It was expected that this may serve as an incentive for them to take up research as a career in the future.
Dental undergraduate students and their Guides from various colleges in the country participate by sending their proposals. A total of 300 proposals get selected for BDS students.
For the first time at MRDC two I.C.M.R funded STS Project 2020 proposals have been selected from our college.
The proposal by Dr. Sumit Bhateja, HoD, Dept. of Oral Medicine & Radiology along with BDS 3rd year student Ms. Arushi Bhatia. Title of the proposal is “Panoramic Radiography- A Diagnostic Marker for early detection of stroke”
The proposal by Dr. Nisha Yadav, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Public Health Dentistry along with BDS -1st-year student Ms. Ritika Jasrotia. Title of the proposal is “Comparison of motivational and deterrent factors among first time and experienced voluntary blood donors”
