Manav Rachna bestowed with the ‘Most Innovative University in Research & Studies’
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, Formerly MRIU, Deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) has been bestowed with the title of the ‘Most Innovative University in Research and Studies’ during the 8th International Human Rights Awards 2018 by All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice (AICHLS). Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS and Dr. R.K. Arora, Registrar, MRIIRS received the award from Dr. Binny Sareen, Director, Brahmakumaris; Dr. Rajiv Ahuja, and Major General Satbir Singh.
While expressing his delight, Dr. N C Wadhwa said: “Manav Rachna lays great emphasis on research and innovation. We have over 4300 research papers in International/National Journals and Conferences. Centers of Excellence have been established in collaboration with reputed companies like Daikin, Su-Kam, Mitsubishi, Honda, SAP, Reliance Jio, and Sky Tester for enhancing the research skills of our students”.
At the same platform, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, Director Principal, Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14, Faridabad received the ‘Exemplary Leadership Award’ for Peace, Harmony, Protecting and Promoting Human Rights through Education.
Dr. Amitabh Rajan (IAS) and the former Home Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary of Maharashtra; Mr. Ashok Chakradhar, Hindi author and poet; and Dr. Anthony Raju, Advocate and Chairman – All India Council of Human Rights, liberties and Social Justice bestowed the award upon her at the 8th International Human Rights Awards 2018.
