Kalam’s Day – 15.10.2015
Department of Students Welfare, MRIU organized a series of events under Manav Rachna Literary Forum and Manav Rachna Arts Team in the memory of indomitable spirit of late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Poem recitation, Collage making and Sketching competition were conducted in Students Corner, DSW Office (F Block Basement) on 14th Oct 2015 from 10 am onwards. The essence of the event was to honor the memory of ‘The people’s President’ and around 45 students from various faculties and institutes participated in the same.
Dr. S.K.Chakravarti, Director Research and Publications MRIU and Prof I.K.Kilam, Dean Students Welfare judged the events and declared Aditya Kumar (5th Sem – CSE, FET) as the winner of Poem Recitation; Robin Raj (3rd Sem –BCA, FCBS) as winner and Kuber (1st Sem-FET) as 1st Runner up of Sketching Competition; Khushbu Gupta (1st Sem- B.Arch, FPA) as winner and Nayan (3rd Sem- BCA, FCBS), Prakrit (3rd Sem- BCA, FCA) as 1st runner ups of Collage making competition.
The winners put down the best work and paid their respect to Late Dr. Abdul Kalam.
