Ms Chaitali Wadhwa of the School of Law, Manav Rachna University was invited for the 2^nd year in a row, to be an Arbitrator-Judge in Moot Shanghai, the 12^th edition of which is scheduled from 21^st-25^thMarch 2022. 

Moot Shanghaiis a pre-moot in advance of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In the previous annuals, more than 600 practicing arbitrators and lawyers from both common law and civil law countries worked together as guest arbitrators. Over 1000 law students from more than 22 jurisdictions acted as party representatives in more than 500 mooting rounds.

The moot allows participating law students to apply their accumulated knowledge to practice and to enhance their arguments and oral advocacy and pitch their wits against teams with different legal traditions before experienced legal practitioners and receive valuable comment and guidance from them and thus hone their skills in a cross-cultural and multi-jurisdictional setting.
