International speakers address participants on ‘Resistance and Assimilation: Voices of the Subalterns’ at Manav Rachna
The Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies hosted an International Conference on Resistance and Assimilation: Voices of the Subalterns at its campus today. The conference was attended by professors from leading government and private universities of the country.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Prof Chander Mohan, Gen Secretary, Comparative Literature Association of India. Luminaries from the world of English language and literature chaired eight technical sessions during the conference, where over 90 papers were presented and the Proceedings of the conference were released.
The participants had the privilege to listen to well-known international academic speakers like Dr. AbdurRazzaque Khan from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Dr. Rajesh Verma, Royal University of Bhutan.
Professor T. N. Dhar, University of Eritrea and Professor Raj Kumar, HOD, Department of English, Delhi University presided over the valedictory session.
The Conference concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants and presenters.
