Dr. Sabiha Imran presented a paper entitled”Vaccine Designing against Visceral Leishmaniasis: Challenges for developing Successful vaccine” at International Conference on Recent Research in Biomedical Engineering, Cancer Biology, Stem Cells, Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (BECBAB-2017) held  at  Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, on  16^th September,2017.Viseral leishmaniasis is the top five parasitic disease  identified by WHO.The available drugs are having severe side affects as there is a urgent need for vaccine the author presented the current status and challenges for designing the vaccines against visceral leishmaniasis. The paper was very much appreciated by the scientists and audience present in the conference.
