Inter University Recipe Competition
Our vision is to provide the students with every possible opportunity to bring out the best in them by encouraging them to participate in various competitions and Industrial visits. On one hand these competitions develop the skills of students and on the other hand Industrial visits are considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. These Industrial Visits give students a pragmatic exposure through interaction, working methods and employment practices. Moreover, it is also helpful from the academic point of view. Main aim of participation in different competitions and visits is to provide exposure to students about practical working environment in Companies. Building good relationship with companies will in turn create future job opportunities for Manav Rachna students.
Keeping this in view Manav Rachna International University provided a golden opportunity to the students of BSc. (Nutrition & Dietetics), Faculty of Applied Science. Students participated in the Inter University Recipe Competition held in Amity University, Gurugram (Manesar). The theme of the competition was “Low Calorie Snacks for All Age Groups”and Manav Rachna International University students stood Second in position.The competition was well designed keeping in mind the exposure of the students. Overall, the activity was highly interactive and proved to be a good platform for the students to enhance their conceptual knowledge related to Nutrition & Dietetics field.
